Sharing the Good News with people who are hopeless and lost is our first duty and privilege. Jesus said, “Come unto me, all you that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
New believers are vulnerable and need nourishment to grow in their faith. We have started to build a new church building to provide for members' needs and help them reach out to their community. The first and second floor of the building is now finished, and the congregation moved in on Christmas Eve, 2023.
The new building will be the headquarters for BCM to achieve these missional strategies:
1. Train and equip indigenous pastors and church planters to plant healthy churches. They know the local culture, language and heart the best.
2. To teach new believers who have little Biblical background. They are vulnerable. They need a Biblical church community for protection and nourishment so they can become disciples of Jesus.
3. To provide children with a Christian education to achieve a meaningful and useful future and help others. The Lighthouse School is operating in the new church building.
4. To help release addicts from destructive lifestyles. Addictions are a huge problem. You can help to expand our Rehabilitation Program so that clients can learn life skills and become whole again in Jesus.
5. To alleviate poverty--there is a great need. We provide medical clinics and food when needed.
One of our goals is to see families and villages transformed when children receive a Christian education. We need your help to operate and expand the program.
Often, parents are too poor to send their children to school, so the kids end up on the streets and often turn to a life of crime and substance abuse. It is wonderful to see them become whole and productive people.
You can sponsor a child and become the means for reclaiming a life. It is like rescuing a drowning child. It is worth the effort! You can help provide the care and training that prevents this scenario.
With your help, prayers, and support, BCM can become a means of stopping this spiral of poverty by providing Christian education, healthcare, nutrition, and mentoring. We have had some notable successes already and look forward to bigger and better things with your support.
We have been working with the EDEN Rehabilitation Center, with excellent success. What a joy it is when people recovering from drug and substance dependency become believers and return to their families to provide for them and mentor them in their faith. We trust they will be baptized and come to our church. A good number have done this.
We are planning to purchase land and building an adequate facility to serve our clients holistically. They need to learn life skills so that they can become productive and restored members of society. We are in negotiation with Global Teen Challenge, and are grateful for the potential benefit from their experience, training and curriculum.
Mawin's Testimony
My family, and all my relatives are Buddhist. One day I was swimming in a river and suddenly there was a vortex, and it took me under the water. I was drowning, and no one was there, so I thought I was going to die. I shouted to my god for help, but nothing changed. Suddenly, I remembered the Gospel that had been shared with me by the BCM pastor about Jesus our Savior. He had told me that Jesus can save not only our souls, but also help us with difficulties in our life, so I shouted to Him: "Jesus, if you are a Savior and truly God, please save me." Suddenly, I felt like someone was helping me out of the water, but when I searched for the one who helped me, no one was there. I thought that was just lucky, or that some spirit had helped me.
My second experience was with my brother-in-law. He had a serious heart problem. Doctors said he needed surgery, but the cost was too high, so we could not pay for that. We felt hopeless. But I remembered about Jesus and started praying again: "Jesus, if you are truly God, and you helped me when I was drowning, then help me again for my brother-in-law’s heart surgery." Two weeks later, there was a charitable organization which met with them and helped them with the cost of the surgery. I was very surprised, but again, I did not accept Jesus.
My third chance to see Jesus at work was when I owed about 2 million Thai Bath (about $80,000 C$), because I was in a dark business. My business had collapsed, so I had to pay. I had no money to pay them, and my family was threatened with death. I was so scared and started praying again. With real tears and a broken heart, I prayed: "Jesus, I know you are truly God because You helped me two times, but as a Buddhist, it is hard to accept you as my Saviour. There will be many problems with my family and relatives, but if You help me this time, I will accept you as my Saviour and Lord!"
After two months, the creditors came to negotiate with me and told me to pay just 200,000 of the two million Thai Baht (about $8,000 C$), and they also gave me a chance to pay off month by month. Now the debt is all paid.
I had promised to accept Jesus as my Saviour and Lord, and this time, I did. I was baptized, and am now teaching my children about Jesus and sharing the Good News with my family and others. Recently I went with the BCM team on a Gospel trip and shared my experiences with others. I said: “nothing can cut my faith from Jesus, not even my family or death.”
Now I am clean and live my life for Jesus. Praise the Lord!
PS Mawin has been faithfully serving with BCM in many different ways, and we love him and his family! God is faithful!

BCM depends on donations from individuals, churches, and foundations to support our pioneering and sustainable social and spiritual programs. We have a window of opportunity right now to do this work.
We are looking for partners like you who grasp the vision and the urgency in Asia and want to see the love of Christ transform lives, communities, and nations in Asia.
None of us have all the resources needed to meet all the needs there are. But when we take what we have and use it to make a difference in the world, we have stepped beyond ourselves into the world of others.
Your donation to one or all of these projects is also an act of faith in us. We are humbled by your trust and pledge to handle your donation with integrity.
