How You Can Help

Bring Hope. Share the Good News. Transform Lives.

Biblical Church Ministries (BCM) is dedicated to proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ in Myanmar (formerly Burma) and Thailand—regions where countless people have never heard His name. With your partnership, we can reach hearts longing for hope, truth, and restoration.

Your support makes it possible for BCM to:

Plant seeds of faith in unreached communities

Offer rehabilitation and education in places marked by chaos and danger

Strengthen local believers to carry the Gospel forward

Amid uncertainty, BCM stands firm—serving people and serving the Lord. Together, we are bringing light into darkness, peace into turmoil, and HOPE into lives that desperately need it.

Become a Partner in Hope

Your donation is more than a gift—it is a lifeline. Every contribution helps ensure that the Good News is preached, disciples are made, and communities are transformed. Luke 6:38

Join us today. Give generously. Share the Gospel. Restore hope.

Who we are:

Through challenges and opportunities alike, BCM has built a legacy of compassion, resilience, and Gospel-centered service. Every step of our journey reflects a deep commitment to bringing hope where it is most needed.

BCM is an independent, indigenous mission agency partnered with International Christian Mission Services (ICMS), with boards in both Canada and Myanmar. This partnership ensures that our ministry remains accountable, transparent, and aligned with Canadian charitable standards.

Our History

Rooted in Faith. Growing in Hope. Serving with Love.

Since our founding in 2023, Biblical Church Ministries (BCM) has been a faithful witness in Tachileik, Myanmar, Mae Sai, Thailand, and surrounding tribal regions. From the beginning,

our mission has been simple yet profound: to Share Jesus, plant churches, and create community in Myanmar and Thailand.

The importance of a church body and building:

It is important for believers to belong to a church body for mutual support, protection, community, fellowship, and spiritual nourishment. Otherwise, the believer will be alone in a hostile culture; it is like leaving a new-born baby on a park bench. THIS MAKES A CHURCH BODY AND BUILDING A NECESSITY. We have provided two new church buildings so far—one in Tachileik, MM and the other one in Nan Kai. A third building is in process is being built at this moment—it will be a combination school, dormitory and church sanctuary for Nan Nok. We are helping provide other church buildings for the other churches we are planting. You are making this possible, and BCM is deeply grateful for your gifts and prayers! With your help and God’s provision and protection, our goal is to establish 100 (?) churches.

The NEED is GREAT. People are hungry for the Good News! Help both young and old to hear the Good News of Jesus.

A. Our Leadership: WHO IS PASTOR AUNG MAI?

Pastor Aung Mai is the kind of person who makes the Gospel attractive and welcomed! He can go where few others can go. He has a board of six members to help guide and empower.

His background:

a. A Master’s degree in theology

b. Co-founder of Biblical Church Ministries in Myanmar and Thailand

c. A man of vision and action

d. Has great joy in nurturing his flock, evangelism, and meeting spiritual needs despite many difficulties

e. Speaks Burmese, Thai, English, and some tribal languages

f. Happily married and has two children

B. Training new leadership: Discipleship and church planting Training

This last year BCM held its first two-month Discipleship Training session in Mae Sai, Thailand. We chose Mae Sai, since it is safer and more convenient for others to come help.

It is only 2.3 miles from our base church. 25 young, dynamic believers, eager to serve the Lord and the church enrolled, and it was an exciting, encouraging time, where young people grew deeper in their faith and commitment to Jesus, and decided to become involved in the work of BCM. Over half of them are full-time workers in church planting, personal evangelism and Sunday School activities. We are planning many more of these concentrated teaching sessions. We are overwhelmed by God’s goodness and power to lead His church and obey the Great Commission. Please pray for these young people as they move into more and more responsibility in the church and evangelism efforts.

What we do:

SPREADING THE GOOD NEWS TO TRIBAL AREAS. (Pictures)

Reaching Tribal People and displaced Burmese in Thailand.

The tribal communities of Myanmar are remarkably open to the Good News. BCM has already helped many to accept Jesus as their Savior. In these villages, when a chief embraces Christ, often the entire community follows. What a powerful testimony of transformation!

We have discovered that there are approximately 500,000 displaced Burmese in northern Thailand, and they are ready for the Good News. BCM plans to establish a number of churches in that area.

Operating Two Christian Schools

For many families in Myanmar, poverty makes education impossible. Without schooling, children are left vulnerable to cycles of poverty, crime, and hopelessness. BCM is breaking this cycle by providing Christ-centered education—because children are the future church, and their lives (and generations to come) can be forever changed when they hear the Good News early.

• In February 2024, you helped us launch the Lighthouse Christian Education Program in Tachileik.

• In April 2025, we opened a tribal school in Nan Nok in a rented facility. At present, because of a generous donor, we are building a new multi-purpose school. It will be a school, a dormitory and a church sanctuary.

These schools are more than classrooms—they are places of rescue, hope, and transformation. Dozens of children who might otherwise roam the streets are now

learning, growing, and discovering Jesus. At present, we have about 60 children enrolled, and we trust this will only get larger. It is an incredible joy to see children rescued from a disastrous path and given a future filled with faith and purpose. Thank you for making ALL this possible BY THE GRACE OF GOD!

BCM Rehabilitation Center

Myanmar and Thailand face overwhelming challenges: poverty, hopelessness, and widespread substance abuse fueled by cheap drugs. BCM is responding with compassion and practical solutions through the BCM Rehabilitation Center (BCMRC), with the potential of treating up to 30 clients. Global Teen Challenge is providing expert training and curricula. Thank you!

With your support, we are:

1. Restoring lives through rehabilitation and discipleship.

2. Providing agricultural training—raising chickens, fruits, and vegetables—to equip people with life skills, which becomes a “double blessing”: food for today and skills for tomorrow.

3. Helping families become whole again, so they can bless others.

Stories of hope are emerging:

• Pastor Aung Mai has faithfully led BCMRC for years. Recently, four men graduated from the program and are now supporting their families. Praise the Lord!

The Light of the Gospel is shining brightly because of your prayers and support. Together, we are laborers in God’s harvest.

The Mission of BCM

Our mission is clear and urgent:

1. Care for and nourish new believers so they become effective disciples of Jesus.

2. Evangelize in Myanmar and Thailand, reaching both tribal and urban areas.

3. Train pastors, plant biblical churches, and empower them to share the Good News.

4. Provide Christian education, relieve poverty, and extend medical aid to families in need.

5. Help those struggling with addiction find freedom in Christ and grow as disciples.

Our Long-Range Plan

We envision BCM churches become:

• Self-Supporting

• Self-Governing

• Self-Sustaining

To achieve these goals, we are pursuing strategies such as:

We plan to help villages and pastors with micro-loans and self-sustaining programs like raising chickens, rice, pigs, etc. We already have a 5-acre rice paddy which is helping two villages become increasingly self-supporting.

• Using our multi-use base church building center for worship, training, and Christian education.

• Building strong donor and partner networks.

• Providing transparent updates to strengthen trust.

• Encouraging evangelism and church planting.

• Creating a base of prayer and financial supporters.

Imagine the transformation your help makes possible for new believers:

From: hopelessness, addiction, broken families, and condemnation…

To: new life in Jesus, restored families, and radiant hope.

Praise the Lord! God still answers prayer.
